Why Blogging is So Hot
The blogging market is hot and there are a ton of reasons why, but one of the most important reasons it’s so popular is because blogs get a lot of interest from people looking at products and services and advertisers want to be seen. Bloggers are all over the place writing about all sorts of cool and unique stuff across the globe. No matter what type of field they’re blogging about, there is money to be made.
Think about it, there are blogs on everything from shoes to fishing to cook books. It doesn’t matter. Whatever your interest is, you should follow it and start a blog. I recently wrote about how to start a blog for beginners. That post basically talked about whether you should try to get hired at a company as a blogger or go into the world of professional for yourself. My vote is personally that you go into business for yourself, but I can understand if you would rather get money upfront rather than wait and possibly get a lot more later.
It’s not too late for you to get in on all the excitement of blogging. It’s a huge craze, but there is plenty of bandwidth left for you to start hammering away at the keyboard and getting known for your expertise – whatever it is – video games, movies, purses, basket weaving, carpet cleaners, dog medicine – absolutely anything!
How much can you earn from blogging? Millions! Yes, the top bloggers make millions of dollars from their blogs. Perez Hilton is one of the more famous celeb gossip bloggers that absolutely cashes on his website. Go ahead and check out all the advertising he has loaded on there. I’ll bet you $1,000,000 they’re paying him a pretty penny to be seen by all his readers.
Obviously, if you just pick up and start a new blog, you won’t have all the fame, fortune, and acclaim Perez does. However, if you do follow what you love and do a great job writing about it, there’s no reason you can’t bank at least a few thousand dollars a year and get known in your little corner of the Internet.
