Why are so many people blogging? Because it’s fun, they can right about whatever they want, and if they get it right, they can make money! Yes, you can really make money blogging – and I think you know by now this is not some big myth, that it’s actually true. You may have come looking for someone that pays you to blog as a job. If you’re serious about really making a career out of blogging and earning real money, I highly recommend you start a professional blog with your own domain name and web hosting account. Is it hard? Hell no. If my stupid ass can do it, I’m sure you can too. All you need is a domain name (about $10/year) and webhosting (about $140/year) and you’re up and running your very own business. Simple as that.

So how do people create income from their blogs? One way is to sell advertising to other people. Another may be what you’ve heard of as “Google Money”. This comes from the free Google Advertising Program. Now, I don’t want to make it sound like you write 3 blog posts and your cashing a huge paycheck because you’re not. However, what I highly recommend is you be the best blogger you can be and write 5 times a week or more for 8 months. If you do this, you’re going to put yourself ahead of a lot of other bloggers in your niche and odds are you’re going to have people emailing you with advertising offers.
I want you to keep in mind that some subjects will make a lot more than others but almost everything has great potential. If I was you and I started my own professional blog, I would stick to something very specific and become the expert on that. For example, rather than writing about football in general, I’d write about a football team.
